Lupita Nyong’o $150,000 Oscars dress STOLEN from her hotel room

TMZ reports that the Oscar winner was robbed of the $150,000 (over N30M) Calvin Klein dress she
wore at this year’s Academy Awards. The dress, which featured a whopping 6000 Akoya pearls, was stolen from her hotel room at The London in West Hollywood, California. Police were on the scene today taking the Oscar winner’s statement and are currently reviewing security footage to trace the thief.

She said: ‘She has an opinion, and she’s going against the norm. So in that respect, she is similar to me, yeah. And also, people just want to give her a hard time all the time because they think she’s a goody-two-shoes, so of course I want to embrace her.
