The interim President of the Nigerian Boxing Federation, Azania Omo-Agege has declared unequivocally that Lt. General Minimah lack the power to suspend him from the Nigerian Boxing Federation,(NBF).

Omo-Agege stated this while reacting to his purported suspension by Minimah and some of his fellow disgruntled board members. He stressed that a person who has been suspended by the international Boxing Association, (IBA) and whose tenure had since elapsed lacks the power to initiate or pronounce any suspension on him. He therefore declares that the so called suspension is null and void.

Omo-Agege who also doubles as the Interim President of the Africa Boxing Confederation, (AFBC) charged Nigerians to totally disregard such information, maintaining that activities of the Nigeria Boxing Federation will continue to thrive under his leadership.

He concluded by thanking well meaning Nigerians who have called to show their suports towards him in this trying period, while assuring that in no distance time everything will be back on track.

Outgoing NYSC Members Praise Prophet Fufeyin, Urge Nigerians to Follow His Example Some members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who served with Mercy City in Delta State have praised the generous actions of billionaire Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin after receiving a N5 million gift from the cleric. 

 They also encouraged fellow Nigerians to adopt the philanthropic lifestyle of the prophet, who is the founder of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries in Warri.

   

 As part of his ongoing tradition, Fufeyin had previously gifted N3 million to some outgoing corps members in an earlier batch this year. In a video shared with journalists, Fufeyin stated that the donation was facilitated by the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation, the charitable arm of his ministry. 

 Several former corps members referred to the clergyman as a father figure to Nigerian youths, emphasizing his supportive role throughout their service period. 

 Faith Nnaji from Enugu, one of the NYSC members, expressed her joy and gratitude for the gift, stating that it would significantly impact her life. "I am extremely happy. I pray that God will expand his territory and bless him," Nnaji said.

Otagari Juliet from Edo, another beneficiary who served with MercyTV, mentioned that the gift would enable her to start something new upon her return home instead of waiting to find a job. "I didn't anticipate this happening.

Nigerian Business Man, Alafaa Kariboye-Igbo aka Oilmoney, has supported the medical expenses of the popular Nollywood actor, John Okafor, whose stage name is ‘Mr. Ibu.’Oilmoney paid part of the bill via his foundation known as The Oil Money Foundation.


Ibu had on Wednesday appealed to Nigerians to come to his aid, noting that he does not want his legs to be cut off, following an undisclosed ailment that has befallen him.
Reacting to his appeal, the Oilmoney Foundation came to his rescue and settled part of his medical bills.Disclosing this on His social media platform, the foundation said: “Oilmoney Foundation is honoured to have extended support to Mr. John Okafor also known as Mr. Ibu, a renowned comedic icon, who has graced our screens and brought joy and laughter to countless homes over the past four decades.”

The foundation, a non-profit organisation designed to improve the lives of poor Nigerians and Africa through various programmes and initiatives, however, did not disclose the specific amount of the medical bills.It revealed that the recipient of the transaction is available. According to the transaction date on the document sent by the foundation, the funds were transferred on Wednesday 25th October.
