Real Madrid unveils German midfielder, Toni Kroos

 Toni Kroos has successfully completed his £24million move to spanish club, Real-Madrid. T
he former Bayern star who signed a six-year deal with the UCL Champions was unveiled at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu today. 

'
I know that at this club you are expected to win trophies but I'm the right man for that because I'm used to winning. I know this is the correct decision and I'm very proud to have made it. I cannot think of anything more wonderful than being here. This is the biggest club in the world. In 2013 I won the Champions League and in 2014 Real won it, and I hope we can win it again next year. I hope to be able to return the confidence this club has shown in me.'

German fans celebrate their world cup winning heroes as they arrived back home from Brazil.


Thousands of German fans thronged the streets of Berlin to celebrate their world cup winning heroes as they arrived back home from Brazil.

The team arrived in an open-top bus emblazoned with the years they have won the competition – 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014.






Nigeria Ranked 34th on FIFA ranking after World Cup outing


FIFA released the new list based on countries performance at
the just concluded World Cup in Brazil.
Nigeria went up 10
spots courtesy of the Super Eagles' second round finish at the World Cup.
The Super Eagles now rank third place in the African continent
after Algeria and Cote d'Ivoire who came 24th and 25th
respectively on the World list.
World champions Germany was ranked number one on the list
while Argentina was placed second and Netherlands 3rd.
Colombia came 4th, Belgium 5th, Uruguay 6th, Brazil 7th,
Spain 8th, Switzerland 9th and France 10th. Continue to see

I am Stil the head Coach of the Super Eagles , Stephen keshi speaks


Coach Stephen keshi was quoted in a statement yesterday saying:

“What I said to my players was that this may be my last match at the helm of affairs in the national team, because my contract terminates with the World Cup and I have not been offered a new one. I was a bit shocked that the global media went to town to say I have called it quits with the national team. Resignations are not done on the pages of newspapers but formally”.

Singer Kefee to be buried in Sapele on Friday, July 11 2014


A statement released by her publicist today states that Kefee’s

husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, who has been making
arrangements to bring her body back from the U.S., will arrive
the country first to receive her body before taking her down to
Delta State for burial.
Teddy had earlier indicated that his wife’s family had requested
that she be buried in their hometown, with a celebratory service
in Sapele afterwards
