Multi-talented rapper and Afrobeats singer Walian Yoruba2pac marks his special day with a brand-new 6-track project, From The Shelf, blending different sounds, moods and experiences into one exciting body of work.
Nigerian multi-talented rapper and Afrobeats singer Walian Yoruba2pac has officially released his much-anticipated EP, From The Shelf, as a special birthday gift to his fans and supporters.
Rather than simply celebrating his birthday with the usual festivities, Walian Yoruba2pac chose to give his listeners something they can keep coming back to, a carefully put-together project that showcases his versatility as an artist and his ability to move between different sounds and moods.
From The Shelf is a 6-track-packed project that explores different sides of Walian Yoruba2pac, combining elements of Afrobeats, rap, street-inspired sounds and feel-good music. The EP is designed to offer something for different moments, whether you’re dealing with fake friends, celebrating life, enjoying a party, catching a vibe or simply looking for something to play on repeat.
The project opens the door into Walian Yoruba2pac’s world, with each track bringing its own identity and energy.
One of the standout titles, “Fake Friends,” touches on the reality of dealing with people whose loyalty may not always be genuine. It brings a more reflective side of the artist to the project while keeping the sound engaging.
On “Hallelujah,” Walian switches the mood and delivers a song that carries a more celebratory and uplifting feeling. The track fits perfectly into the overall theme of appreciating life, growth and the journey so far.
Things take a more energetic turn with “Party,” featuring Davidzy. As the title suggests, the track brings a lively atmosphere to the EP and is positioned as one of those songs made for turning up, hanging out and enjoying the moment.
Walian Yoruba2pac continues the journey with “Jubayi Lor,” adding another layer to the project and further showing his ability to explore different sounds without being restricted to one particular style.
The EP also features “Gbadun,” featuring Rayone, another collaboration that adds a fresh dynamic to the project and gives listeners another flavour to enjoy.
To round things off, Walian Yoruba2pac includes a bonus track, “Roger Miller Freestyle,” giving fans an additional glimpse into his raw and freestyle side.
With From The Shelf, Walian Yoruba2pac is not simply putting out another collection of songs. The EP serves as a celebration of his birthday, his musical journey and, most importantly, his connection with the fans who have continued to support his sound.
The project also highlights the artist’s versatility. From reflective moments to upbeat records and collaborations, From The Shelf takes listeners through different emotions without staying in one musical lane.
As Walian Yoruba2pac continues to carve out his own space in the Nigerian music scene, this new project gives both existing fans and new listeners an opportunity to experience more of what the artist has to offer.
