Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s wife files for divorce in London court

According to The Cable ,
The wife is seeking divorce on the grounds of
“unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery”.
She outlined
several allegations against the pastor which cannot
publish for legal reasons. The divorce case, with Suit No
FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce
Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High
Holborn, London, UK, on Anita’s behalf by Attwaters
Jameson Hill Solicitors, a full-service law firm with
expertise in commercial law and a strong consumer focus
in family, wills and estate, personal injury law and
medical negligence.
Efforts to reconcile the popular couple, whose church is
one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and has
branches all over world, have failed. They have two
teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn." Continue...
Oyakhilome is the president of Believers’ Love World Inc,
the registered name of the Christian ministry, while his
wife is the vice-president. The pastor, according to an
elder of the church, has denied allegations of adultery and
believes his wife is being influenced by “bad friends” who
are intent on destroying their home. While Anita believes
she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the
church, her husband has reportedly accused her of trying
to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the
ministry. Sources told TheCable that the pastor had been
making efforts to avoid divorce in the hope that the wife
would eventually have a change of mind. However, the
decree nissi was served on the charismatic pastor in his
hotel room during a recent visit to the UK. Decree nissi, in
legal terms, is like a yellow card in a football match which
is a precursor to a red card (“decree absolute”) if no new
evidence is provided to stall proceedings. Church insiders
said Oyakhilome had been hoping for rapprochement, but
he was left with no option than to receive the papers when
the lawyers cornered him at his hotel in London. The
decree absolute, which will effectively end the marriage,
is expected to be issued soon while terms of the divorce
will be worked out by the lawyers on both sides.

9-Yr Old Raped To Death by Guard In Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old security guard, identified as Gideon Musa,
for raping a nine-year-old girl to death in the state capital.

According to reports, the suspect, who is a guard near the victim’s house, took the teenager to a nearby bush and raped her to death.

However, father of the deceased, Mr. Edwin Ode Ominiyi of Umuchigbo, a community in Abakpa Enugu East council area, was said to have reported the disappearance of her daughter to the police.

Confirming the incident on Wednesday, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO,  Ebere Amaraizu, said the victim, according to her father, suddenly disappeared at about 1 pm, which resulted to a search and subsequent report  at the police station.

Following the report, Amaraizu said the policemen swung into action, spreading their tentacles within the arena and environs.

According  to Amaraizu, “a search was, however, intensified by the father assisted by the suspect. During the search, the suspect pretended to be assisting until the policemen were informed that he was the last to be seen with the victim.

“Following this revelation, Musa, popularly known as Aboki Mai-guard, was invited and questioned by the police. He then confessed that he took the victim to a nearby bush where he had carnal knowledge of her until she became unconscious and fainted.

“He further revealed that when the victim fainted, he had to run out from the bush. When he took the operatives to the place, the lifeless body of little Endurance was seen lying naked with blood gushing out from her private part.”

EBOLA: Lagos Prostitutes Decry Low Patronage

Kate, Bright and Happiness sat on the lawn of a Lagos brothel, sipping lager and chatting with men in groups
of two or four. Business had been good, they said, until Ebola arrived.

“I have been in this business for two years but business has never been this slow,” said Kate.

“I used to have an average of seven customers per day but I can hardly see four now since this Ebola disease came to town,” the 25-year-old told AFP.

“Many of our customers are afraid to come to us for fear of contracting the disease. This Ebola wahala (problem) is really bad business. The government should do something about it.”

With Ebola spread through the bodily fluids of an infected person, including sweat, the sex workers say they’ve been particularly badly hit by public fears.

“This disease is bad-o!” said 23-year-old Bright. “It is worse than HIV/AIDS. You can prevent HIV by using condoms but you can’t do the same with Ebola.

“If care is not taken we will soon be driven out of business because nobody wants to die.”

Africa's Richest man Aliko Dangote Donates N150million to Fight Ebola in Nigeria

The Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Foundation, Mrs Adhiambo Odaga announced this at a media briefing at the Ministry of Health, Abuja on Monday.

She said the money will be available for the establishment of an Ebola emergency operation centre in Lagos.
After bilateral discussion with the honourable minister and his team, Dangote foundation has funded the establishment of the Ebola emergency operation in Lagos, that is being done through grant from the foundation of just a little over N150 million,” she said. Continue...
"The strategy that our chairman is deploying is the strategy to respond and to commend government for the effort, and to show that all Nigerians are concerned. We will continue to discuss with the ministry about what additional support can be offered.
And we also have been approached by several parties who are interested in partnering with the government, and we would continue that discussion.”
Odaga relayed Dangote’s call to all Nigerians to join the federal government in the fight against Ebola, expressing optimism that the disease would be contained.

The choice of the emergency operation centre as an investment for Dangote Foundation is based on the fact that is the critical platform through which the government is coordinating all that is happening to ensure that the crisis is contained,” she added

Photos: fake Assistant Commissioner of Police Arrested

According to police reports, Illesanmi, who goes about
dressing in police uniform with the rank of a Deputy police
commissioner displayed on his shirt, was arrested after an
apprehended
notorious car snatcher and supposed pastor of a
church, Gabriel Asaolu, identified him to be one of those
who bought stolen cars from him. Continue...
Investigations by the police revealed that Ilesanmi had bought
two stolen cars, a Mitsubishi Montero and a Toyota Avalon
from the suspect before he was arrested. The insignia of a
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), an Assistant
Commissioner of Police (ACP), two photographs of the himself
in DSP and ACP uniforms as well as an unregistered SUV
believed to have been sold to him by another suspect
was discovered at his home.
When interrogated, Ilesanmi said he got the DSP and ACP
insignia from a friend, whom he identified simply as Segun. He
said he used the police uniforms to help in clearing vehicles
which he deals in

“I used to deal in cars. I usually travel to the Benin
Republic to get vehicles. I would hang the ACP uniform on
the backseat of my vehicle so that customs officials
would not disturb me. With this trick, I smuggled in about
six cars between 2011 and 2014. At checkpoints, the
police and other security agencies would simply salute
me, and let my vehicle go. I did not usually pay duties at
the entry point. I sold the vehicles for prices ranging from
N1.1m to N1.5m. I got the DSP and ACP uniforms from a
friend named Segun. Till now, I don’t know where he got
them from.”
When asked how he met Asaolu, Ilesanmi replied,
“I knew Gabriel (Asaolu) as a pastor in a church at the
Oke Aro area in Ogun State. He told me he was also a car
dealer, and that he could supply vehicles to me at cheaper
prices. I had gone to the church for a revival. He also said
he was an Ondo State indigene. Later, we went into car-
selling deals. I never knew he was an armed robbery
suspect. In August 2011, he called me that he wanted to
sell some cars, but he sold only the Toyota Avalon to me.
I bought it from him for N750,000. I was using the car. I
did not sell it. Apart from smuggling, I also used the
police uniform to attract consultancy jobs from
companies in Lagos which sent their officials to me for
training. I trained some security guards for many
companies. I regret being a fake policeman, but it is just
unfortunate.” he said

661 Million Naira Fraud ,EFCC Arrests Two Bankers

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested two bankers
for allegedly stealing the sum of N661,000,000 (six hundred and sixty one million Naira) from their employers.

The duo, Samuel Obende, a Branch Manager, and Rabiu Alhasan Dawaki, Head of Operations, both of the Bello Road Cash Center of Union Bank Plc in Kano, abused their positions to perfect the heist. They were saddled with the responsibility for the evacuation and supplying of cash to about seventeen branches of the bank in Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, and Jigawa States.

In the course of carrying out their duties, they fraudulently conspired and stole the sum N661, 000, 000 (six hundred and sixty one million Naira only).

In an effort to conceal the illegal act, they fabricated accounting entries, which deceitfully showed that all the monies were sent to the respective branches.

Ebola Vaccine set to be Ready in 2015

The World Health Organization today announced that clinical trials of a preventative vaccine for the Ebola
virus made by British pharma company GlaxoSmithKline may begin next month and made available by 2015.

According to AFP, Jean-Marie Okwo Bele, the WHO's head of vaccines and immunisation, said this; adding that he was optimistic about making the vaccine commercially available.
"We are targeting September for the start of clinical trials, first in the United States and certainly in African countries, since that's where we have the cases. We think that if we
start in September, we could already have results by the end of the year. And since this is an emergency, we can put emergency procedures in place ... so that we can have a vaccine available by 2015."
Continue..

There is currently no available cure or vaccine for Ebola, a virus that causes severe fever and, in the worst cases, unstoppable bleeding. It has claimed close to 1,000 lives in the latest epidemic to spread across west Africa this year. Several vaccines are being tested, and a treatment made by San Diego-based Mapp Biopharmaceutical, ZMapp, has shown promising results on monkeys and may have been effective in treating two Americans recently infected in Africa.

I even slept with two brothers" -Maheeda confesses

In a new interview with Vanguard, she still emphasised that fact and explained the extent she goes to for sexual gratification...

"Yes, it’s a must. It’s necessary… If it doesn’t happen, that means I’m travelling or something like that.Early in the morning, maybe late at night but when my husband is not in town then I’ll try the dildos. I have a lot of dildos, different colors and different types. I’m even thinking maybe I should just open a sex shop, it’s even better.I love sex, everybody is addicted to sex. Why does everybody just think I’m the only one? If there’s no sex, I won’t be normal. Everything will just be sexy to me.Yes, my husband is in Nigeria. I had sex this morning.Don’t you love sex? The thing is sweet. But what I’m doing is not because I love sex but I mean, when God gives you lemon then you make lemonade. I love sex so I use it and it’s all the same. That’s why it’s natural and it’s working for me.
What is the wildest thing you’ve ever done in the bedroom?
I was with a guy and he was really not good in bed. Suddenly, his brother came in, and I just had sex with him as well as his brother.
Was he in the same room with his brother?
No, but he disappointed me in bed. And since I needed it and his brother was available, so I had to do it with him. It was one after the other.

Three suspects Nabbed Trading In Human Skulls

SOURCE : THE SUN
The suspects already arrested in connection with the illicit trade include Clement Omodijie as well as two clerics, Olasukunmi Owolabi and Usman Saliu who were all arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, attached to the Lagos State police command, Ikeja. The suspects were nabbed recently when they were about to supply three human skulls to their buyers at Ikorodu.
According to police sources, the suspects alleged that the skulls found in their possession were sold to herbalists who in turn claimed that they used them to prepare concoctions for their sick customers. They also alleged that some were sold to customers from across the country who needed the skulls to perform rituals.
Of late, several syndicates involved in human parts have been busted within Lagos, a development that made the state Police Commissioner, Umaru Manko issue a directive to detectives especially those in SARS to intensify their searchlight on such illicit trade. This led to the arrest of the suspects who were accused of going to the Igbogbo cemetery in Ikorodu at night to exhume human skulls.
Looking sober and ready to bare it all, Omodijie, who works as a grave digger in the cemetery, pleaded that the only reason he succumbed to demands for human skulls was that the buyer, Owolabi, claimed that he was using the ground skull to assist barren women to conceive.
“Owolabi happens to be my friend and for months, he had requested that I should assist him with human skulls instead of setting them ablaze. Initially, I told him that I do not indulge in such act but when he explained in details why he wanted the skulls, I decided to do his wish.
“Normally, after three months, we will dig out the skeletons to make space for others. In Igbogbo cemetery, there are areas that are not owned by anyone. It’s the general burial ground and it gets filled up easily. To create a room for others, we will dig up the skeleton and cremate it. What I normally do is to select the bigger ones and throw it inside the bush without the knowledge of my colleagues. I will pick them up on my way home at night”, he stated.
He claimed that since he secured the job five years ago, he had never been involved himself in the sale of human skeletons till he met Owolabi. According to him: “I used to be a block moulder till I got this job. It was a better alternative since they were paying me N23,000 a month. I did not indulge in the act for financial gain. I was only paid N4,000 which was just given to me by Owolabi as a way to say thank you. I know that he is a herbalist and one of my relatives had once told me that ground skull can be used to make native medicine potent.”
“Besides, the skeleton belongs to no one and I felt it was being recycled. Instead of setting it ablaze, why not dedicate it for procreation. I really don’t know my crime, why police chose to punish me. I am innocent. I do not sell fresh corpse because it is an abomination. It was just like going to the garbage to select things that can still be of use and sell them. If it is a crime, I am sorry. Please, forgive me and do not allow my children to suffer unjustly”, he pleaded.
Another suspect, Owolabi, who hails from Oyo State claimed that he learnt about the potency of human skull two years ago. His words: “I did my Arabic studies in Kwara State 13 years ago. I used to organise prayers for people and at the end of the day, they will show appreciation. It could be for business, child bearing and so many other issues of life. For those who are sick, I will mix herbs and roots for them.
In the course of my duty, I travelled to Kano and Kaduna states. Most of my colleagues taught me that I could get better in healing people especially barren women if I add a little bit of ground skull to my drugs.
I was reluctant because it is a taboo to be found with a human skull in Nigeria. I refused to give it a try but in recent times, my business started dwindling. People were no longer coming back for prayers and some of my colleagues told me to look for ways to make my drugs more potent. It was then that I decided to give it a try.”
Determined to boom his business, Owolabi started sourcing for human skull. “I decided to make, Omodijie, my friend. We became good friends and hanged out severally. It was in one of our outings that I mentioned the idea to him. Initially he refused but I was able to convince him months later that his secret was safe with me. I knew that his salary was not much, so I told him that I will also pay him for his services.”
On their arrest, Owolabi lamented that he never knew that he was wanted by the police. “I was shocked when the man who claims to be an Alhaji turned out to be a policeman. I tried my best not to mention the name of Omodijie but when I realised that my captors were policemen from SARS, I had to tell them everything they wanted to know. This was necessary before they will assume that I am into ritual killing”, Owolabi stated. He also pleaded with our correspondent that his name should not be mentioned in this report for fear of losing customers. “I am telling the truth. Please, do not publish this story because my customers will run away”, he begged.
The third suspect, Saliu, who hails from Ilesha in Osun State, also claims that he attended an Islamic school where he learnt Arabic studies.
“I do not believe that human skull can be used to prepare charms but some of my colleagues, including Owolabi, believe in it. I knew that he had access to human skulls, that was why I contacted him to help me. I know colleagues who had demand for it; all I did was to contact Owolabi. I never knew that it was a set-up by the police to arrest us. I am terribly sorry and will assist the police to find those who I supplied the skulls to.”

Shocking : Mother Sells Her 17yr Old Daughters Baby

The mother, Onyinyechi Nwabueze, 38, was paraded by the police at the  ‘A’ Division of the Plateau State Police Command.
Policemen from the division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Victor Dimkpa, a Chief Superintendent of Police, had rescued the baby, Chiamaka, in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
Blessing, who was staying with her mother at Rukuba Road area of Jos North, was allegedly put in the family way by her boyfriend.
After Chiamaka was delivered, Godspower’s mother, who was not comfortable with the development, allegedly decided to get rid of the baby.
According to Blessing, on July 19, her mother sent her on a phony errand in order to effect the “diabolical” act.
She said, “My mother sent me on an errand, but when I came back I asked for my baby and my mother asked, ‘which baby?’ She feigned ignorance and at that point I started crying and reported the incident to the Police.”
Police Commissioner, Mr. Chris Olakpe said, “After the mother sent her daughter away, she (Nwabueze) stopped a tricycle and took the baby to the first receiver, one Eucharia Anyaegbu. Anyaegbu transferred the baby to the second receiver, Rita Maduako, who finally sold the baby to 53-year-old unmarried woman, Grace Nnadozie.”
Nnadozie, however, told our correspondent that after she applied to an orphanage home for a child without any result for the past two years, she sought Anyaegbu’s help.
She said  she gave N500,000 to Anyaegbu for the baby. Anyaegbu gave N350, 000 to Maduako.  Maduako was to give N200,000 to the baby’s grandmother.
But Nwabueze denied that she sold the baby.  She said her daughter was very wayward, so she decided to give the baby out to somebody else who would take proper care of her.
She said, “How can I sell my granddaughter. My daughter is not capable of taking care of the baby and I decided to give her to somebody who will take proper care of her.”
Nwabueze explained that she lost her husband in 2007 and since then, she and the six children she had with him, had been finding things difficult.
