W.O.W (Workshops of Wealth), a pan-African initiative committed to strengthening leadership capacity, economic empowerment and long-term legacy among African women, is set to host a major two-day gathering in Sandton, Johannesburg. Taking place on the eve of International Women’s Day at @sandtonhotel, the W.O.W Africa 50 Women Honours will recognise exceptional African women whose work continues to shift economic narratives and transform sectors across the continent. The honourees span multiple fields — from business, finance and public leadership to health, mining, innovation, fashion, environmental advocacy and media.
The recognition is crafted to celebrate meaningful contribution, resilience and measurable impact rather than popularity. Profiles of the honourees will appear in the upcoming edition of W.O.W Business Magazine, a curated publication that documents the leadership ethos, experiences and achievements of African women shaping the continent’s future.
Monday, 9 March 2026 — W.O.W Africa 100 Founding Members Breakfast
Following the honours ceremony, W.O.W will convene the W.O.W Africa 100 Founding Members Breakfast — an exclusive, closed-door chamber intended for strategic engagement among top women leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and professionals.
The session is structured as a high-level dialogue focused on:
• Building shared influence rather than individual competition
• Strengthening cross-border cooperation among African women
• Expanding wealth creation through ownership, access and strategic partnerships
• Developing African-led institutions and economic ecosystems
• Advancing collective economic power beyond recognition and awards

Founded by South African entrepreneur and wealth strategist Lelo N, W.O.W Africa was created to fill a major gap in the leadership and economic development landscape.
